Eyo: The Global Citizen

Eyo: The Global Citizen explores Yoruba identity, cultural memory and performance beyond their expected geographical setting. Placing the Eyo figure within contemporary public environments, the project considers how tradition travels, adapts and is reinterpreted. The photographs move between documentary observation and constructed encounter, allowing the figure to appear both culturally specific and unexpectedly universal.
