Bonnie is a collaborative portrait study concerned with presence, movement and the changing relationship between subject, photographer and place. Made at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, the photographs move between stillness and spontaneity, monochrome and colour. Rather than presenting one definitive portrait, the series follows the gestures, expressions and shifts in mood that emerged during the time we spent together.
